Winter Wonderland

On Friday the 13th of December 2024: four of our amazing clients and their support workers embarked on an incredible evening down to the Gold Coast Winter Wonderland at Movie World. The evening started with an encounter with Santa, with the team having to capture the magic of the evening with a family photo.

Our clients then quickly went their separate ways, both eager to see just want DreamWorks had to truly offer. Our youngest members surely being the bravest of the group, embarked on a mission to find the scarcest roller coast on site, testing both themselves and our MNK staff. With the Superman concurred, they quickly moved on to find the next challenge: The Green Lantin. There screams could be heard from kilometres away, however their true test of character shining through as they pursued to find the next scarcest ride.

The remainder of the group, however, were much more happy watching others preform and risk their lives. They loved watching and being amongst the Hollywood Stunt Driver 2 Show, enjoying their front row seats. The edge of the seat production, showcasing the very best drivers; preforming burnouts, skids, donuts and of course highspeed drifting.

Of course, due to having so much fun everyone built up quite the appetite, and a special treat was to be had. Andrew's goal for the night was to watch the final parade and have a nice ice-cold beer and man did he love it. Andrew enjoyed a nice cold XXXX Gold while watching and enjoying the magic of the final parade. With the beauty of the snow and magic in the air, it sure was a site to see.

We finished the night off in the magical spirt of Christmas, walking out with a light shower of snow. What an amazing night it was for both out clients and staff members, creating memories that will last a lifetime and kicking goals of the bucket list until the next opportunity arises.
